- I receive an error when installing the Task-Pane Add-In
The most common conflict when installing the new SolidProfessor Task-Pane Add-In for SolidWorks is Windows User Account Controls (UAC). Have a different error? Please send us a screenshot to support@solidprofessor.com.
In order to successfully install the Task-Pane Add-In, Windows User Account Controls (UAC) must be disabled. To disable UAC, and install the Add-In on your system, please follow the link below that corresponds with your version of Windows.

Download the SolidProfessor Task-Pane Add-In for SolidWorks.
Note: Once you have modified your UAC settings, your MUST restart your computer for the changes to take effect. Once you've adjusted the settings and restarted your computer you can complete the task-pane installation. After the installation is complete, feel free to revert UAC to your desired setting.
