new to engineering

Two years ago, Joshua Cooper started a techno-robotics preacademy at Denison Middle School. His team has several projects where they work with both Lego (NXT) robotics and K’Nex bridge building.  Starting this year, Joshua’s students are trying hard to earn their SOLIDWORKS Certification with the help of SolidProfessor. Joshua is excited to see his students working hard to receive their CSWAs.

Joshua mentioned how when he first started the techno-robotics preacademy, SOLIDWORKS was completely new to him. He was able to learn quickly alongside his students using SolidProfessor as a guide. The students are now becoming more comfortable with the 3D Design software. Joshua stated, “I think that my students are doing things that they never felt possible because of SolidProfessor.  Just today a student (Michael C.) was creating his own house using techniques he learned from SolidProfessor.”

Good luck to the team at Denison Middle School! We are very excited to see the success of Joshua’s students over the next year.
