Our Team Is Growing!

We’re excited to introduce two new members of our Customer Success Team: welcome Alli and Blake! Don’t worry, you’ll still find Joe, Sarah, and me at SolidProfessor – Sarah has moved to our Marketing Team, and Joe and I are here to help you and your team achieve your goals.

Alli Bartelloni joins SolidProfessor after working for an IT staffing firm where she helped managers build engineering teams. She is excited to help you have a wonderful learning experience!

As account manager at a software company, Blake Bender helped customers use technology. He’s excited to build a relationship with you.

Joe McAferty has been an integral part of the Customer Success Team for the past year and enjoyed meeting many of you at SOLIDWORKS World. You can still reach out to him any time.

Over the next month, I’ll be focused on rolling out a set of permissions that will allow you to share admin capabilities with other members of the team – reach out if you’d like to learn more!

Introducing Technical Certificates!

SolidProfessor Technical Certificates are an exciting new feature that allow you to easily showcase your knowledge and experience. Awarded to members who score at least 80% on the Course Review Test, Technical Certificates help to verify your expertise. The Future of Making Things: On Demand and in the Cloud

At Autodesk 2016, CTO Jeff Kowalski discussed the recent exponential increase of technology. Rather than be fearful of technology or consider it the competition, Kowalski encouraged the audience to view the competition as someone else adopting new technology before you do. With customers expecting products to be custom and interactive, manufacturers find themselves restricted by the inflexible business processes in the traditional product life cycle. In response, manufacturing is becoming increasingly more agile by embracing cloud-based software like Autodesk Fusion 360, and teams are turning to effective training methods like SolidProfessor to expand their design teams’ skills. As Kowalski said, “ongoing learning is the antidote to fearing, an enabler of using, new technology.”

Check out CEO Tony Glockler’s blog post for more information about how you and your team can use Autodesk Fusion 360 to stay at the cutting edge of technology and foster collaboration across your team.
