SOLIDWORKS Design
In this course, you’ll learn to create complex geometry and production level models. You’ll start with advanced sketching techniques such as 3D sketches, splines, and curves which serve as a foundation to create surfaces and weldments.
You’ll also learn how to create various fillet types, including face fillets, full found fillets, and conic fillets. This will allow you to create variable sized fillets, automatically break sharp edges, and blend complex surfaces for consumer products.
We’ll cover how to blend various profiles using sweeps, lofts, and boundary features for creating mechanical and industrial designs. For mechanical design, stamping, and mold applications, you’ll learn how to use the flex, indent, dome, and wrap features to modify existing models quickly and intuitively.
Finally, you’ll learn how to use multiple bodies to design complex models that would otherwise be impossible to create.
By the end of this course, you’ll have an excellent foundation to begin our CSWP Prep course and be well on your way to becoming a master of SOLIDWORKS modeling.
