AutoCAD Electrical Training

AutoCAD Electrical design software includes all the functionality of AutoCAD, with the addition of a special set of design features built specifically for creating and modifying electrical control systems.

This course is designed to help you work smarter, quicker, and more efficiently with AutoCAD Electrical and is best for designers already familiar with AutoCAD, who want to create drawings that make use of the AutoCAD Electrical symbol library. You’ll learn how to make drawings with symbols that represent push buttons, circuit breakers, and other electrical symbols. You’ll be able to make your drawings interconnected by linking these symbols to panel footprints.

To start, you’ll focus on getting familiar with the user interface, and learning how the ribbon tools and Project Manager work. Then, you’ll learn how to create schematic and panel drawings, and how to manage documents that are linked together in projects.

Learning to create smart templates, link symbols to panel footprints, find the references of items using the Surfer tool, and how to run reports on panel and schematic drawings will help you advance your skills and create better drawings.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to create and troubleshoot existing drawings and utilize tools for automating control engineering tasks with ease.

The AutoCAD Electrical course is included in the SolidProfessor Professional membership plan.
