Don’t want to wait for the next 3DEXPERIENCE World or Autodesk University? Attend SKILL SUMMIT 2021 on May 12, 2021: a new (virtual) engineering design event from SolidProfessor.
At SolidProfessor, we appreciate that the engineering design community is always looking for opportunities to connect and learn from each other at events and meet-ups. You may have even seen us at trade shows and SWUG meetings over the years!
Our favorite part about these events is when the sessions give you the chance to learn practical skills from top experts and industry leaders. Don’t get us wrong — we love flashy swag and inspirational stories, but we consider an event to be a success when we walk away with new, tangible skills. That’s what led us to creating this brand-new event for engineering design professionals.
Introducing SKILL SUMMIT 2021!
SKILL SUMMIT 2021: A Virtual Event for Engineering Design Pros
SKILL SUMMIT will be a half-day, virtual event on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, where you can learn how to turn big ideas into practical design strategies. The theme is From Rivets to Rockets: Tips & Techniques to Be a Better Designer in Your Field
This theme was inspired by all the innovation we see happening every day, in all industries, organizations, and “walks of engineering” — not just at major companies like Tesla and Apple.
Think about it: what do personal computers, pacemakers, and the Etch A Sketch have in common? They were all invented by engineers in their garage!
The landscape of engineering design is vast, but most engineers still share the same foundational skills, use the same tools, and face similar challenges.
You don’t need to work in a state-of-the-art facility or cutting-edge industry to make an impact on your business or your own career. Whether you’re designing parts for a washing machine or the next Mars rover, SKILL SUMMIT 2021 will equip you with tips, techniques, and best practices to boost your skills and make you a better designer in your field.
What should I expect by attending SKILL SUMMIT 2021?
This virtual engineering design event is focused on helping engineers learn practical tips from industry experts that you can apply to your work, no matter what field you’re in or company you work for. Here’s what the half-day summit will have in store:
