SolidProfessor Partners with TECHNIA to Deliver Online SOLIDWORKS Training in the EU

SolidProfessor announces its partnership with TECHNIA to provide online SOLIDWORKS training support for global teams.

SAN DIEGO, CA – SolidProfessor and TECHNIA have formed a new partnership to help provide online training support for strategic accounts in the EU. TECHNIA is a long-time partner and solutions provider for Dassault Systèmes with a focus on CATIA and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This year, TECHNIA expanded its relationship with Dassault and signed a SOLIDWORKS distribution agreement to deliver SOLIDWORKS software to strategic accounts in the EU. To support them in this new initiative, TECHNIA sought a training partner to quickly get these new accounts up to speed in SOLIDWORKS. The company chose SolidProfessor’s online CAD, CAM, and BIM training platform.

TECHNIA serves enterprise accounts in the EU with large and often globally distributed engineering design teams. The company was looking for a training partner that not only had robust learning material for SOLIDWORKS, but also a platform that was capable of supporting the more complex nature and needs of these distributed teams.

It was these criteria that led TECHNIA to work with SolidProfessor. SolidProfessor’s platform features the most complete library of online SOLIDWORKS training available with over 275 SOLIDWORKS courses for all skill levels and specializations in the software. In addition, SolidProfessor publishes hundreds of video tutorials on other essential engineering topics for design professionals including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).

SolidProfessor was also positioned as an ideal training partner because of its unique ability to support globally distributed teams through reporting, progress tracking, and customizable training programs. SolidProfessor’s platform allows for both global CAD administrators and local CAD managers to assign courses, create learning paths, and track the skill development of multiple design teams from anywhere in the world.

“For us at SolidProfessor, this partnership with TECHNIA, one of Dassault’s most trusted partners in the EU, is an exciting opportunity to introduce ourselves to the European SOLIDWORKS community,” says Tony Glockler, CEO and Cofounder of SolidProfessor. “With more design teams operating remotely in the current COVID-19 environment, the ability to provide effective SOLIDWORKS training to users’ desktops via a web connection is really powerful.”
